5) Visit the center one day before exam to breed in familiarity with the space/surroundings

6) Carry a watch, preferably an alarm watch, buzzing at every hour

7) Don’t get stuck in any question, no need to score 100% :)

8) ID, Cash, 4 Pens, Pencil, Eraser, A pic, water bottle (smallest things matter there & can come in handy

9) RE-visit the important topics

10) Read the instructions carefully, very carefully, JEE is famous for throwing surprises, Underline the the alarming changes in pattern

11) Attempt all questions with no negative marking

12) Be very careful with the Bar-Code, don’t temper

13) Keep yourself cool, if u panic hum a song or a prayer for a minute, take deep breaths and march forward O Soldier

14) Its a test of concepts/I.Q. so even if u dont know anything abt a question try common sense :)

15)Dont try to check ur answers between the exams as it may lead to depression/panic/anxiety

16) If u find it too hard remember that 6 lac other students ll be finding it the same way :)

17) Always read the questions twice and if u think u know the answer/question is too easy read once more, slowly to decide n find if it has a twist

18) Usually 60% marks are more than enough to get through so u can opt to skip some risky decisions but also remember that u loose 100% marks of the unattempted questions

Rest & Relax buddy, remember its not the end of life, its just an exam

I ll end with the words of Bill Gates ” The topper of every examination I failed, now works for me”

All the best
